Keep your photo libraries in sync
PhotosBridge automatically archives photos in Google Photos when you delete them from Apple Photos â keeping both libraries consistent without permanent data loss.
Apple Photos
Monitors your Apple Photos library for deletions using the native PhotoKit framework.
Google Photos
Automatically archives matching photos in Google Photos when they are removed from Apple Photos.
Reversible
Archived photos are never permanently deleted â they can be restored from Google Photos at any time.
How PhotosBridge uses your Google data
PhotosBridge requests access to your Google Photos library solely to provide its core functionality. We access the minimum data necessary and never download, store, or share your photos.
- Read your Google Photos library We read photo metadata â filenames and capture dates â to match photos between your Apple Photos and Google Photos libraries. We never download your actual photo or video content.
- Archive photos in Google Photos When a photo is deleted from Apple Photos, we archive the matching photo in Google Photos. Archiving removes it from the main view but keeps it safely in your library. We do not permanently delete any photos.
